I purchased this for my ladies book club. We were pretty heavily reliant on the discussion questions that are often in the back of the book or questions we found on the web that required recollection of scenes from books rather than an more esoteric outlook on themes that could run through any piece of work.
We have thoroughly enjoyed this cube. They offer a refreshing break from the typical questions and provoke some deep though, light-hearted silliness and inner searches for meanings outside of just text. It is really cool that one can use these same questions for almost any book. Often, we find ourselves talking about previous books as well, once we draw a question. I am so glad I bought these. We still use the other questions, but these help us when we are stumped for reasonable questions, which REALLY happens when we have read books we didn't end up caring about very much.

I use this with my 12th grade ENglish class to discuss novels. It is helpful in making them think beyond regurgitation and summary of the novel.
