Elegant, useful, well thought-through. I want more!!!,
This review is from: SpiceCare System
I have had my SpiceCare set for several months now, and I love it. All my containers are filled, and I am waiting for the right occasion to buy another set. When I first opened the box, I was so excited to try it out, that of course I did not read the instructions or watch the video, so I fought a little while with the metal label holders, but once I did check the instructions, it was easy to remove and reinstall them. I love that you can group spices by what you use them for - Here's my Indian Food selection, here's the Italian stuff. You can stack the containers by whatever system you like, but by sorting them by cuisine type you can 'grab and go'. I also love the pleasant shape and design of the containers - they look good, stack well, and form a circle. The build-in spoon leveler made me cry little tears of joy when I first discovered it. If you are looking for a system a) that keeps your spices properly airtight b) helps you find your spices easily c) that is flexible about where it can be stored - counter top or drawer or cabinet d) allows for neat sub-sorting (like stacking all your baking things, or your Indian Spices) e) that looks pretty cool, even if left on the counter f) that helps you measure (spoon leveler) this is the best I found. I'll get more.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

Well designed and constructed. I've been searching for a system like this for years with different sizes, available shaker tops, and individual containers available for purchase separately (and no special rack required). I also love the custom label feature on the website. With a collection of over 60 spices and OCD tendancies, it's been very hard to find a system that meets my requirements. In response to some negative reviews, after watching the video on the TableFare website, I had virtually no problems removing the stainless sleeves to install the labels. One sleeve stuck, but it was easy to gently pry one of the bottom sides loose with a small screwdriver and move on. It only took me a little over an hour to fill the system with 1/3 of my spice collection. I see a great increase in my cabinet space already. I've ordered about 40 more containers to finish the job. Even my husband is thrilled with the system, increase in cabinet space and ease of organizing our spices. The customer service is wonderful; I've received a fast and courteous response to a couple of questions. Even though I've had the first system filled for a few days I still have to stop every time I enter my kitchen, open the spice cabinet doors and (while the heavenly chorus sings "Ahhhh") gaze in awe at my beautifully contained and organized spices. (Wish I had thought to take a before photo.)

A Mecca of organization,
This review is from: SpiceCare System
I received my Spicecare set as a gift from my partner before the holidays, and I'm thrilled with it! Being a self-employed person who loves to cook forces me to keep a very organized kitchen so I don't waste time. I always put things back in the same place so I don't have to go hunting for it mid-recipe.My shelves are organized so my baking items are in one area, cereal and crackers another, back-stock in the pantry downstairs, etc. The spice shelf and drawer have always been my nemesis. In order for me to find anything I had to pull a bunch of stuff out, stack it on a nearby counter, discover that one of the jars had popped opened and spilled everywhere, deal with slimy or hard to read labels, things falling over as I reach to the back of the cabinet for the star anise, a glass jar falls and breaks on the floor, etc. This isn't the case anymore. Because all the containers snap together I can fit my baking spices together, and spice blends together and so forth. I just grab the stack and go. They don't roll all over the shelf, and they're visually appealing. The little teaspoon leveling flap inside is quite convenient. I haven't bothered to use the shaker screens because I don't like holding my spices over hot food. The steam rises up into the spice container and makes the spices clumpy. Yes, I'm a spice snob. Although I've yet to commit to the idea that you shouldn't keep your spices for more than 6 months, or the one that says a year is the maximum before they lose their flavor. So I ride the fence on that, and rely on the airtight seal of my new spice jars! I have three times as many spices than what the kit provides and will end up purchasing more to complete my collection. I think the quality of these containers matches the price and generally expect to pay a little more for something that's durable. Unless I ran over them in my truck these little guys aren't going to break. One neat feature I've discovered on their website is the ability to print up more labels. I can type in "Billie's Jerk Seasoning" or what ever I want it to say and I don't have to look at my bad handwriting.
