I've had problems with other shakers leaking, which drives me crazy - who wants to have sticky hands? This one, no leaks at all. As a bonus it's dishwasher safe since it's all stainless steel (according to the Tablecraft website) - and so far I've had no problems with it in the dishwasher.

I find this shaker very useful when I make Martinis. The lid however is somewhat hard to remove. You need to be very careful not to splash the contents of the shaker while trying to remove the lid.

The 8 ounce metal shaker is attractive, strong, and works well. The liquid normally doesn't spill as long as you are mixing a drink that is cool or lukewarm. However, being metal it contracts if you are shaking a hot drink and that causes spills and sometimes the top shoots off. The dark metal has a high sheen.
