Great Condiment Holder,

This review is from: Tablecraft H357 6-Ounce Glass Base Condiment Holder With Stainless Steel Lid And Spoon (Kitchen)
This is very well made, although its not the same one that Alton Brown uses ( I thought it was the same one), it is still a very useful salt holder for any kitchen. The bowl is glass, and all the other parts are stainless steel.

Just Like Alton Brown's Salt Cellar,
This review is from: Tablecraft H357 6-Ounce Glass Base Condiment Holder With Stainless Steel Lid And Spoon (Kitchen)
I was hunting around for a version of Alton Brown's salt holder, since it is no longer sold on his website - this is it! It does come with a spoon, and there is a small gap for the spoon to fit through the lid. So if you remove the spoon, there will always be a little gap there. But it doesn't really matter - it's salt! What's going to happen to it because there's a little gap? Nothing! So buy this for your salt cellar! For the record though, the thing is much bigger than I thought it would be, so check the dimensions if that's important to you. Even if it's a little bulky, it's not very heavy (at least, when filled with salt). The handle is convenient to hold, and you can flip your thumb over to open the lid quite easily. |
