This book is superb. This is the best book on the market for seeking knowledge on what flies to use for what fish. Lou really shows the reader in seperate sections for wide body mid-sized body and small body bait fish. And when he is done whith thhat he shows how to fish each type of bait fish. He goes into detail on how to find bait fish and to discover what the predetar is eating and at what depth. This book is great and the knowledge i learned from this book helped me this summer to catch the most strippers I have ever caught on a fly.

To much general information about the Pacific and the Atlantic and not enough specific information about the Gulf. Wanted more description/photographs of the bait. Also wanted some accurate information about fish and their many different names used for the same bait fish.
