5.0 out of 5 stars Great ball nice price
I have used these Tachikara's for the last few years in leagues, finally bought one for my pick-up night. Great feel, and the ability to control it is amazing. Will feel heavy if you are using non-regulation balls, but it makes for a much better game. Doesn't hurt as much digging those heaters, too. Excellent buy, I have seen these for $45.00 in Dick's and Sports...

1.0 out of 5 stars loosing air already. . . .
The first time I used the ball there were no problems. I've had this for about 3 months and it has been loosing air after playing for about 30 to 40 mins. It was a great price but I am disappointed at the quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Playability, January 15, 2006

This ball is great, it's soft and can do pretty much anything you want with it. You can hit a spinner or a floater. It isn't too far off from the SV5W Gold, but this has more durability.

5.0 out of 5 stars Top brand delivers, no big surprise, April 5, 2007
Tachikara isn't "the" name in volleyballs by chance. This is a great practice ball. Bottom-line: Great synthetic ball with all the response and performance needed for upper-level play.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great volleyball, April 5, 2007
This is probably the best volleyball I have ever used. It took about 3 days of use to get it broken in. It was a little hard at first. There is an incredible amount of grip. This makes setting the ball so easy. I am extremely happy with this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great elementary ball, March 8, 2007
The SV-5WSC is a great elementary ball for games and practices. Probably more of a practice ball for secondary and up. Just be cautious when inflating. Follow the instructions carefully! When done inflating, the ball may feel like it hasn't inflated completely, that's because it hasn't. The Loose Bladder may have a crease in it and it takes a little bit to force the crease out. Let the balls stand for a couple of hours or maybe at least a day. It will eventually push out the creases. Once the crease is out, then you will need to inflate it to the recommended pressure. You will be able to tell when the creases are out. They fly true because of the LBC and feel good on the arms. Especially for little elementary kids! Tachikara stands behind their equipment too. Don't hesitate to call them directly about any concerns or complatins. Great for the price and quality!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great ball!, March 13, 2007

(REAL NAME)
This ball is quite a bit cheaper than the Tachikara SV5W GOLD ball. What you get is a very good ball. I find the feel of the ball just right. If you're playing in co-ed or in junior, I would recommend considering the GOLD because it has a slightly softer contact. It's only a small difference but if soft contact matters to your players, they'll notice it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great volleyball, soft, great feel!, May 9, 2008
Fantastic volleyball. I played high school volleyball and was always partial to Tachikara, and this ball did not disappoint. Great price, look, and soft feel.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best ball for the buck, December 10, 2007
If you're looking for an indoor ball, you really can't go wrong with this one. Tons of color choices, and a great feel for indoor play.

I've tried other volleyballs in the past, both from this brand (Tachikara) and others. This is the one I like best, and I don't think you'll be disappointed.

If you don't have a color preference, be sure to shop around for this model. Prices can range by almost $20 depending on color combinations.
