I'm always a bit reserved when buying products with an expiration date as I have been burned in the past. However, this product has a LOT of time left before expiring. They were produced in 06/2012 and don't expire until 06/2017 leaving plenty of time. I'll definitely use this retailer/seller again!

Looks to be as advertised. As I already stated, I hope I don't have to use it, ever! I became convinced that I needed to carry this product in my first aid kit after attending a class for first responders...

Good item for any trauma kit. I hunt and shoot in south Texas and always carry a trauma pack for emergencies.

I purchased this Tactical Trauma Dressing as an adjunct to my first aid kit. I'd read reviews of it on another website, and was impressed at how effectively it controls severe and/or deep bleeding. Simply press over the wound, and the bleeding is controlled. Control of bleeding is essential in the first few minutes of any trauma, as you don't want to get into the situation where you, or someone else, "bleeds out" because of an inability to stop the hemorrhage.

Added to this is the fact that this type of bandage is used both by the US military and Israeli armed forces. That, in itself, says something about its effectiveness. Tried and true on the battlefield. So, I highly recommend it as a part of any basic first aid kit.

Purchased these for 3 of our main First Aid Kits. The bandage came packaged in olive drab vacuum sealed heavy duty plastic. Instructions are pictures with written instructions that are small. Intended use for our purpose is for wounds that require QikClot 25gm, compression & lengthly transport to advanced medical aid. The bandage is 4" wide & can be tension/compression adjusted with the plastic closure bar. There are other sizes available from Amazon. We prefer these over standard cotex & wrapping gauze bandages. The items are shelf-life marked & the ones we recieved were maked "7/2016". For the battlefield, package measured 4.5"L x 2.5"W x 1.45"D.

These trauma bandages are now THE issue bandage for the US Military. And after being in Iraq and using them more than once I can tell you that this is an awesome replacement for the "old" issue combat dressing. You no longer have to worry about having to apply an additional pressure dressing if the bleeding isn"t stopped this dressing does it all.
These dressings are a MUST for anyone who spends anytime in the outdoors, and you should have several for "JIC" (just in case) especally if you work around power tools and a mulititude of other activities.

Another Great Israeli inovation !!!

This is an absorbant dressing wrap. I've had to throw other dressings away because the packaging comes apart and the sterile dressing is contaminated.

This stuff is sanitized with gamma radiation, so is sterile, and is vacuum packaged in thick durable white plastic. Good stuff that you hope you don't need to use.

I wish the package could be transparent so it was clear to everyone what was inside.

I used this the other day on someone bleeding from the wrist and it stopped the bleeding very well. The person did not complain about any pain due to the bandaging (probably because they were complaining about the tourniquet). With practice it was easy to deploy and did its job. Securing this allowed me to begin trusting other injuries on he victim. The paramedics that arrived were impressed with the application.
