5.0 out of 5 stars A God Among the Waste... literally July 27, 2011
Format:Audio CD
There's not much good new music except for a couple of bands like Cynic, Atheist, etc., but there's not that many new bands putting out good music either. World Under Blood is one of those exceptions. This is by far one of the greatest records I've ever listened to. Very unique approach to fast music, it has it's own style that's distinguishable. The thing I can't stand about newer death metal bands is that none of the songs are distinguishable from another. With bands like Death, WUB, Cynic, etc., you can tell the difference between songs. Even really brutal bands like Malevolent Creation have riffs and songs that don't sound exactly the same as the last one. Everyone on the record does a supreme job and the songs themselves are all great. Megadeth and Malevolent covers are pretty damn good too.

5.0 out of 5 stars A long time coming... July 27, 2011
Format:Audio CD
I remember back in 2006 when I first heard the demos for World Under Blood. I was completely blown away. Deron's ability to fuse together brutal death metal with a melodic and almost pop sensibility is unparallelled in the music world today. I've waited almost 5 years to hear this album in it's entirety and let me tell you it was worth every second. The album is a rollercoaster ride of thundering drums, complex riffs, and seamless time changes. I can guarantee you that you have never heard an album quite like this before, and in all likelihood you never will again unless WUB comes out with a second. Everyone from CKY diehards to death metal purists should have no problem getting into this. It is truly unique and I am happy that the cd is finally available for everyone's enjoyment. Don't miss out!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best new band since I don't know when.... July 27, 2011
By Steven
Format:Audio CD
WUB! WUB! WUB! Ok, maybe it isn't as catchy as CKY! CKY! CKY! but it seems that everything Deron Miller touches turns into musical gold. Even if you aren't into death metal, this album is a must-have for any music fan. The melody, the hooks, the vocals, the guitars, the drums...it all melds together into a perfect symphony of musical awesomeness on the ears. This album was worth the wait and hopefully this is the beginning of more greatness to come.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Real Stuff July 27, 2011
By Jamez
Format:Audio CD
I've been waiting for this album for 4 years, and let me tell you.. upon first listen I already knew it was worth all the time and effort these guys put into it. Every track is amazing, there are no dull riffs or melodies, the Megadeth cover is spectacular. The artwork is terrific and this album is completely 100% worth the buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Album! July 27, 2011
Format:Audio CD
I am so impressed with everything about this album! All the muscians are so talented and have come together to produce what should be the top album on ALL charts! Deron and his band have obviously worked long and hard towards one hundred percent perfection! I will be listening to World Under Blood everywhere I go, for all to hear. I suggest you do the same! And..... I hope when touring begins.... Oregon is one of the states you hit!

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good album!
I'm a big CKY fan, which is why I picked this album up in the first place. I don't like this as much as I like CKY stuff but it is still really good.
