Tactics of Mistaken Foreboding,
By
This review is from: Tactics of Mistake (Paperback)
When I first grabbed this book of the shelf of a local hole in the wall bookstore I expected another crummy science fiction novel with an entirely predictable plot so similar to the countless others I had read that it would leave me wondering why countless copyright infringement suites have not been filed by sci-fi authors. After reading the book in two sittings I found that I could not have been more wrong. The book tells the story of Donal Graeme, a man with a single-minded vision of greatness that he attempts to achieve through a revolutionary new military might. However, all of his plans hang upon the thread of his theories, which he calls, the tactics of mistake. He allows his opponent to continue making small single victories, deceiving him into the belief that if he commits his forces he can achieve ultimate victory, and then traps them in the middle of their mistake and defeats them. Of course if he is wrong, all that he has striven for will end in utter chaos. I recommend this book for anyone who enjoys Sci-Fi but it looking for something new in that genre. Also for anyone who wants an exciting page turner that will grip you and keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
