The Juno is a lightweight bottle cage manufactured from high-grade plastics, nice and distinctive, it weighs just 39 grams and enhances any bike. The bottle slips in and out of its cage in a single movement thanks to its ergonomic design. The soft rubber button above the cage ensures the bottle is held securely in place.
I've loved riding with the Tacx Tao cages for years so I figured the Tacx Juno could be a good option as well. In addition, the price point was half that of the Tao cage. Well, the old saying, "You Get What You Pay For", definitely held true in this case. I have to preface that the supplier "Niagara Cycle Works" was very understanding and helpful and resolved my situation beautifully. So, absolutely no bad things to say about them. Shipping was fast and customer service was top notch. On to the cages. I mounted both Tacx Juno cages on my road bike and headed out. I rode approximately 5 miles with two large full bottles in the cages. I then hit a pothole and immediately, both cages broke. The cage attached to the downtube broke at the base that supports the bottle, the cage on the seattube broke at both the base and up near the white rubber stopper. Apparently, the cages are not meant to hold full water bottles. :) The Juno is made of 100% plastic while the Tao is made of aluminum and a harder plastic, hence the longevity of the Tao. I would stay away from the Juno to save yourself from the extra time and expense of having to replace them in the very near future. Todd Cat. 1 Cyclist
