Editorial Reviews

Taddy Porter is simply a Rock band - one that knows how to live in a groove, emote feeling, and draw in all those that encounter their passion. The quartet's roots have their foundation in Stillwater, Oklahoma, with branches that have begun to stretch throughout mid-America and the South. Since October 2007, Andy Brewer (lead vocals / guitar), Joe Selby (lead guitar / backing vocals), Doug Jones (drums) and Kevin Jones (bass) have been collaborating to create timeless, undeniable Rock songs that have found fans in markets across the country.

5.0 out of 5 stars heckuva band! December 2, 2010
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I went to see my favorite new band, Shinedown on Oct. 4th and Taddy Porter opened, never heard of them or anything by them but I walked away that night with a new, new favorite band, Taddy Porter, bought the cd the next week and listen to it at least once a day! They are such a breath of fresh air in the hard rock world. I'm 47 and been listening to hard rock/metal all of my life....I like other kinds of music too but Taddy Porter sound like such veterans on their debut record, worth every penny and look forward to their follow up!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rock Album of the Year! June 30, 2010
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
WOW! This is by far the best new band to hit the scene in quite awhile. These guys know what Rock N Roll supposed to sound like! They bring a much needed soul filled energy to the rock scene that's been missing for some time. If your considering buying this album don't hesitate. It will blow your mind.

5.0 out of 5 stars The new soundtrack for my existence. January 13, 2011
Format:Audio CD
Never heard of these guys before last Saturday night around 7 pm when the doors opened at Warehouse Live in Houston for the AlterBridge Show. They were the second act. 2 minutes into the set I was at the TShirt vendor purchasing this CD. Its been my constant companion ever since. Huge sound, unique Southern Rock tapestry. I want to personally thank the artist behnd the instruments for penning this masterpiece. But the more I listen, the more im thinking that it is more than the album which is so Epic. It is them. Rock Forward Gentlemen.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fresh rock'n'roll
Great straightforward rock'n'roll. Hard-edged, guitar-heavy roots rock. Driving beat, good songwriting. A little like the 90s bands, Cry of Love and Brother Cane. Read more

I like every song. This group is very creative. Refreshing music. It's good to hear something other than the same 20 songs played on rock radio today.
