I went to see my favorite new band, Shinedown on Oct. 4th and Taddy Porter opened, never heard of them or anything by them but I walked away that night with a new, new favorite band, Taddy Porter, bought the cd the next week and listen to it at least once a day! They are such a breath of fresh air in the hard rock world. I'm 47 and been listening to hard rock/metal all of my life....I like other kinds of music too but Taddy Porter sound like such veterans on their debut record, worth every penny and look forward to their follow up!

WOW! This is by far the best new band to hit the scene in quite awhile. These guys know what Rock N Roll supposed to sound like! They bring a much needed soul filled energy to the rock scene that's been missing for some time. If your considering buying this album don't hesitate. It will blow your mind.

In 2007, Taddy Porter came on the scene, undeniably a rock band to the core.

The quartet features Andy Brewer (lead vocals & guitar), Joe Selby (lead guitar & backing vocals), Doug Jones (drums) and Kevin Jones (bass).

A young group with promise, I tell you if these guys can keep it together they should go far. Excellent ballads, stripped down rock, bluesy guitar riffs, a well supportive rhythm section and vocals reminiscent of Paul Rogers at his best. A very tight band for sure.

There isn't a bad tune on the complete album and it keeps getting better with every listen because it kicks serious butt! This is real classic rock today, and I can't wait for the next release which is presently in the works with samplers available as I type.

This is party music like it should be so play it loud and proud.

I wonder, was this band named after a beer. I think it was. That makes them even better in my opinion:)

If you enjoy solid rock with a grinding blues rhythm you will sure enjoy this album. The vocals and guitar work is quite exceptional. Check out tracks Mean Bitch and Whatever Haunts You for something special.

Awesome sound. Kick ass and smooth as "southern comfort" 100 proof all at the same time. One of the few musical delights in recent years. There is hope and not all musical heritage from the rocking 70,s and 80,s seems to be lost. Highly recommended for everyone who loves pure rock and roll. All songs have a distinct flavor the variety of songs (everyone sounds different) along with the dynamic and the sound quality of the musicians is outstanding.

At age 51,and rockin since age 13. Bought my 1st LP in 1974.
I KNOW music. Watch this CD produce 3 TOP 10 Billboard Hits.
Get on you tube and watch/listen to the song called "Whatever Haunts You",it is Track #1. If that doesn't cause you to buy this CD, burn all the music you own because your judgement sucks.
This is a true 9 of 10. Comparable examples are, as to quality, not necessarily style, are:
*SEETHER 2003 self-titled
*TOOL 10,000 Days
*CAVO 2009 self titled
*Black Label Society Blessed Hellride

I am NOT saying Taddy is as GOOD as any of the above bands, just displaying my musical taste for comparison.

Never heard of these guys before last Saturday night around 7 pm when the doors opened at Warehouse Live in Houston for the AlterBridge Show. They were the second act. 2 minutes into the set I was at the TShirt vendor purchasing this CD. Its been my constant companion ever since. Huge sound, unique Southern Rock tapestry. I want to personally thank the artist behnd the instruments for penning this masterpiece. But the more I listen, the more im thinking that it is more than the album which is so Epic. It is them. Rock Forward Gentlemen.
