5.0 out of 5 stars best sheet investment I have ever made for the kids.
These sheets are amazing! My boys' mattresses are different thicknesses and these are a nice, thick flannel that fit both mattresses very well. As with all new flannel, you need to wash them by themselves first to prevent pilling but after 3 months of continuous use and weekly (or more) washings, they are still very thick, warm and soft.

1.0 out of 5 stars AWFUL SMELL!!, January 31, 2011

I'm not sure why I haven't seen this mentioned, but there were very "chemical" fumes when we opened the package. So much so that I couldn't even repackage the item and set it in another room to return. I immediately threw away the packaging and washed the sheets--TWICE--with at least double the normal detergent. I didn't put them in the dryer (who knew what was on the product & what it would do when heated??), and hung them in the laundry room to dry. I sent a message to the company, and I am waiting for a response. Maybe the product itself is fine, but the plastic packaging definitely fails. For a company purporting to be "The best choice for baby" I think some intense investigation into packaging needs to take place. And what good is selling organic items when the packaging negates any environmental benefit? Please email the company about their packaging BEFORE you buy!

4.0 out of 5 stars Soft, washes well, but thinner than expected, December 30, 2009

If you are looking for a thicker flannel sheet, keep looking. However, while these are thin, they are very soft and wash well.

After a fair amount of searching online and in person, we went for these and are glad we did. Good price, good quality, fit well, etc.

My little girl loves these sheets. They are really soft and nice to have for the winter months. I do recommend them. Its been difficult to find flannel sheets for a crib, and these are nice.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cozy sheets, shrink a little, February 7, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These sheets are just what we needed for our little one before the giant snows of 2010 hit. He seems to be very comfy and warm in his crib with the flannel sheets. They did however shrink a noticeable amount making them an extra snug fit on the mattress.

4.0 out of 5 stars Soft and warm, November 16, 2009

These sheets are just what I was looking for for my son's crib. They are soft, just thick enough, fit perfectly on the crib mattress, and they are much warmer than regular cotton! They have been washed 5-6 times already, and they have held up well. Other reviewers mentioned having trouble with lint, but I have had no problems at all with lint. I was them in warm water, and dry on medium heat. Overall these are great sheets for the price!

1.0 out of 5 stars chemical smell, as well, November 9, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
count me in the this-reeks-of-plastic-and-chemicals camp. organic doesn't matter a hill of beans if it has a higher chemical content from the bag than "conventional" cotton...
even my husband went "WHOA!" (from 3 feet away!) when i asked him to take a whiff of the sheets. i've had one sheet outside in the wind for 2 days and there's no noticeable drop in the smell. back they go.

i contacted the company via their website; i'll update this review if i hear anything back.

1.0 out of 5 stars Soft, but strong smell, October 6, 2011
These sheets smell like the plastic they came in. I've washed them 3 times and the smell is still there. I'm not fussy or overly sensitive about the way things smell, but there is no way I could put these in my son's crib as they are now. I'll try hanging them outside to see if that helps. The sheets are soft and I think I would like them if they didn't smell as badly as they do. I'm extremely disappointed in this purchase, although it is not Amazon's fault.

1.0 out of 5 stars These smell terrible!, September 26, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I can't believe these sheets are organic cotton. They have a horrible chemical smell that does not go away. I have washed them four times and hung them out to air dry and the smell is as strong as it was when I opened the package. It even permeated some other clothes I washed with the sheets. Do not waste your time or money.
Thankfully, I can return them with no problem to Amazon.
