Additionally, if you are OCD about having the pieces alternate in color the way it is in the picture, then by all means, loot at the picture to figure out how to get it together. But it's really not as hard as some have claimed... if you do it once, you'll remember how for when your kid pulls it all apart. On a related note, I bought these as cheap as I could find them, which means I have different color schemes. I mixed all the pieces together and it looks sorta Art Deco now. Kinda cool, and it might help me from being OCD about putting the pieces together EXACTLY like in the picture. :-)
This pad is slightly thicker than the others by this company - like the ones that have more standard foam mat edging. Just FYI. I like the thickness of these better, but I think that's a personal preference thing.
We have a decent sized kitchen. Meaning, 2 people can comfortably work in it, and I think to cover the whole floor we would need about 4 of these things. As others have pointed out, 21 sq ft is not really a huge area.
Have fun with this mat. It's a great investment if you're trying to protect your kiddo's head.
Hope this helps!!
Revised...7/3/2013...Instead of the two stars I initially gave this product I'm giving it 4 stars due to the customer service I received. This company stands behind their customer satisfaction. I should have changed this a while back but I forgot I wrote this review.
