I purchased this for my daughter's nursery and was hoping it would complement the vintage rose pink I had already in the room (I was looking for a soft light pink skirt); unfortunately the color has more of a purple hue to it similar to a soft ballerina pink. It also is more princessy/fairytail looking then I thought it would be, an aesthetic I was trying to avoid. If you want to compare the color of the tulle, the light pink bridal tulle at Joanne's Fabric Store is the exact same color (I had some tulle rounds leftover from the baby shower). The third layer of fabric behind the 2 tiered layers of tulle is also a matching light pink cotton/muslin. I tried to see if the color of the crib skirt would change having a white or cream piece of fabric behind the tulle, but both colors made little difference, just a smidgen lighter, but the purple is still there. If you are going for a princess/fairytale or ballerina theme I think this pink crib skirt would complement perfectly.

This crib skirt is absolutely adorable! I also purchased the Pink Carter's super soft crib bumper and it looks amazing together! I shopped around for forever trying to find classy yet affordable crib sets in light pink and black and white but found nothing. This is just what we wanted and it looks just as described and pictured above.

I wasn't sure if I was going to be happy with this as you can't really get a good feel for a product on the internet. All of my daughter's bedroom furniture is white, and the new baby's crib is even white. I bought the new "Breathable Baby" crib bumper in white as well. When I had everything pictured in my mind it seemed like too much white but I went ahead with it anyway. This crib skirt is absolutely beautiful and matches perfectly with the Breathable Baby crib bumper! It's a perfect combo if your trying to make your own crib set. Even though the entire room is completely white, everything fits anf flows perfectly. I really like the length of this skirt as well. For newborns, most parents like to have the crib at the highest setting, causing the crib skirt to rise...this one rises maybe 6 in. off the floor and it's still really cute. Then when it's time to bring the crib down the skirt sits maybe 1/2 an inch off the floor so it doesn't drag. Perfect!

I was a little skeptical that the quality of this crib skirt might be cheap-looking. Far from it! It looks great! Fits the crib perfectly and gives just enough "girlyness" to the nursery without being too frilly. I am not a "cutesy" type person, and this fits in perfectly with the sophisticated look I am going for in the nursery. Don't hesitate to purchase this! It is much nicer and prettier to look at than a plain-looking crib skirt.

I like this crib skirt a lot, but I wouldn't exactly call it "tulle." It's more like netting, which is fine but looks cheaper than tulle. Still really cute, though.

I bought this crib skirt to go in my little girl's room to match with other items in her crib. I bought a crib bedding set from Target with different colors of pink (light pink, barbie pink, and a fushia kind of color) and I'm mixing and matching with other sets to kind of make my own bedding set. Her room is pink, green, purple, and blue with a polka dot and Audrey Hepburn theme. Very girly. So the tulle is perfect. Its girly and goes with some of the little ballerina and princess things in her room. Mixed and matched with the different colors of bedding and polka dots its girly without being over the top in my opinion. I don't think its over the top, but if you aren't going for a girly-girl style in your room, then tulle isn't the fabric for you. I don't know how anyone could make that mistake in the first place but that's just me.

Since we have lots of different colors of pink in the room I don't mind that it doesn't perfectly match the other pink colors, but I honestly don't see the lavender/violet hue that others are seeing. Mine must be from a different dye lot or something. Or maybe its my lighting. I don't know but I'm not seeing it.

Its a little bit wrinkled in the package when you first take it out. I suggest steaming it if you are a perfectionist instead of ironing it. I'm not sure if the tulle would stand up to an iron. I didn't steam mine but it seems like the wrinkles are falling out just from it being on the crib.

As far as length... I don't have my mattress down as far as it will go yet, since I read that you really only need to do that once the baby starts trying to pull up. Right now in the position the mattress is in the skirt is a couple of inches off the floor. When I lower the mattress when baby starts to be able to pull up, the skirt will definitely reach the floor, which I don't mind.

I may order another one exactly the same as this one, or perhaps in another color to add more volume to the skirt. I love the way it looks now but I bet it would be even cuter if it was more voluminous.

EDIT: I have decided to definitely order another one just like the pink. I love it. The wrinkles did fall out on their own without steaming, and it looks very pretty. I decided to order another because I want to add more volume to the skirt and also disguise some toys I am storing under her crib until she is old enough to use them.

This is very pretty with just the perfect amount of "girlyness". It does need to be laid just right and is very light and airy.I have a rod iron crib and it does not fully cover the corners, but this may be more due to my crib type than the skirt. However, I do LOVE the look and it is just right if you want something feminine and not an overstated crib skirt.

This crib skirt was the perfect touch for my daughter's pink and brown room! The pink color of the tulle matched my daughter's bedding perfectly; ours is not purple-ish, as some other reviewers have described. The tulle is high quality and seems durable. It does not look cheap at all. It is very cute and classic looking. I would recommend this adorable crib skirt for any little princess' room!

I like the bed skirt, but it is very pale pink. It was difficult to iron out all the wrinkles too. I was hoping for something a little more vibrant, but I couldn't find one so I settled for this one. It looks cute and feminine. It does not draw the eye though. It almost seems like it's not there...

I was a little leary, given the very reasonable price on this bedskirt, but it arrived, and I am so happy. It is beautiful and will look great on my new daughter's crib.
