Excellent & Fun Workout for the AB, Leg and Hip!, June 16, 1999
By A Customer
I've been working out with the Tae-Bo Advanced tape for over three months and love the results. The 55 minute length really makes you feel like you got a great workout. The steps are easy to follow, as far as choreography is concerned. If you're in reasonable good shape, you can keep up with this workout. The only time it gets really hard is when Billy increases the movement speed to double-time for certain short sets. I like the routines because he focuses on one area long enough to exhaust the muscle, but not too long to where you can't keep up. The leg kick routines are very effective in toning the thigh, hips and abs, all at the same time. The only bothersome thing about this video is that Billy sometimes rambles on during a set and you end up doing more reps on one side than the other. I've learned where these are in the tape and compensate by changing sides. I really love the 18 minute floor work at the end of the tape that concentrates on the abs, glut and hip area. My waist, hip, and butt are trimming down nicely from this workout. I am also a big fan of The Firm workout videos and Tae-Bo quickly became one of my favorite video workouts! It's great to travel with too because the workout does not require any equipment.

A " make you sweat, energy, intensed workout"!, February 20, 2000
By A Customer
Ok guys, this is it. I have been doing Tae Bo for 6 months now. I first started out with the Instructional and Basic then moved to the next level, the Advanced one. Let me tell you all, this workout is a strong, tough workout for the full 57 minutes you are watching. This workout strengthens muscles, tones your target area, abs, hips, thigh, and of course, the stomach are. You are learning correct posture and endurance, balance and coordination as well. There are some complaints that the moves are not taught, let me tell you, most of the moves are instructed in the Basic and Instructional tape. That is why it tells you DO NOT attempt this Advanced tape w/o watching or reveiwing the first tapes. I read that one viewer said she skipped the Instructional and the Basic tape and hopped to the advanced b/c the first tapes were to "easy", true, but that is where you learn your moves. That is how injuries occur and why some of you feel like the moves are not taught at all and you jab the wrong way or kick with a too extended knee and twist your ankles..etc.... Now, for the moves that are not in the first tapes, he DOES explain/demonstrate them to you b4 he tells you to do it. So, if you have not done the first required tapes, then do not attempt the Advanced one b/c injuries will result and confusion to the steps will occur. If you watch the tapes first and do them before avdancing to the Advanced, you will have no problems at all and have a good worth your money workout. One that truly rules. Intense

THE ULTIMATE FAT BURNING WORKOUT!!!!, June 6, 2000
I have never sweat so much in my life! I LOVE this workout!! I had been doing the Basic for about 4 weeks, until I was able to comfortably do the entire workout. I then decided it was time to go for more of a challenge. I went ahead and purchased the Tae-Bo Advanced/Tae-Bo Live! Sneak Preview. I definitely got the challenge I wanted and then some! I have been alternating Tae-Bo Advanced and Tae-Bo Live Sneak Preview, every day of the week. In just 2 weeks, I have noticed a tremendous difference in the way my body looks. I am much more defined. I'm more energized and feel much more emotionally balanced. The Tae-Bo Advanced tape is 57 minutes in length. Billy Blanks begins with a quick warm-up and off you go. The workout consists of the same basic moves that you initially learned and adds a couple of different moves all at a much faster pace. At the end, he takes you through a great floor workout for targeting the Buns and Abs. The Tae-Bo Live Sneak Preview is about 20 minutes in length and starts off with a fast warm-up and then onto combining segments from the other Live tapes for a great complete workout. Before doing this workout, it is absolutely essential to go through the Instructional and then the Basic. It is imperative to learn the moves correctly and feel comfortable with them before moving on to the Advanced. I am just now making it through the Advanced without stopping. Billy Blanks enthusiasm and and constant encouragement help you push yourself to the end!
