I have several Tag lanterns outside on the patio- some hanging, some on the steps, and some black candle holders and the big black patio platter- so I wanted a dramatic light to put by the main door, and I thought this might be it. This is just lovely. It's very well made, and will come well packed. It's graceful AND sturdy, and it takes a very large candle- which is great. I hate having the candles burn out in the middle of a party. I wish I had ordered more than 1 - at $10.56 this was a steal. I would have been happy to pay twice the price for it. (I'm commenting on the large 17" size)

Positive reviews here and from a friend who has seen them made me think I might be getting my hopes up, but I just got them (I ordered 3) and they are GORGEOUS. At first I thought it was silly that Amazon sent them to me in 3 different boxes, but when I opened the first box and saw how well it was packaged - to protect the glass hurricane piece - I had to agree with their shipping choices. I don't usually get excited about home decorating stuff, but these are beautiful and I'm thrilled I bought them.

The Candle holders are very beautiful at a great price. You will love them as a center piece, they are a great size and not to big. The price is great so you get a bang for your buck!
