Review

"A beautifully written futuristic endtimes fantasy, revealing that no matter how troublesome the world may become--or even our own personal lives--God is loving."

Product Description

In the midst of the apocalypse, Graham Peck must protect his fleeing family from the malevolent authorities and unexpected technological devices designed to destroy them. Graham Peck and his family are on the run from a secret international conspiracy that is working to manipulate the entire American population. Following the death of Peck*s mother, the family turned to The New Seekers, a new underground church, for spiritual answers. Deemed subversive, Peck*s relationship with the Seekers sent the family running for their lives. Similar to mechanical scorpions or devouring locusts, *nano-robot* molecular devices have been let loose on the population by the conspiracy to *tag* the rebellious. As world events continue to deteriorate with nuclear wars, crime, rogue asteroids, and famines wreaking havoc, Graham*s daughter is captured and jailed. Now the Peck family must rush to find a way to rescue her before time runs out.

5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic apocalyptical thriller, August 29, 2004
Graham Peck was the right hand man of Chicago Mayor Frank Bridges until he failed to go along with the program dictated by the mayor's ally, the Prime Minister of Turkey, Rashid. Graham and his family became marked for termination. Able to prevent getting the microchip inserted on the forehead of people that keeps track of recipients, the Becks hide in their summer cabin in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. Months pass before they go to Phinelander to test the mood of the country after the disappearance of millions of people.

The town like the rest of the country is descending into anarchy and though they meet a woman who shares their values, they quickly return home. They find that Bridges has captured their daughter Mary, who gives away the family location forcing them to move to the home of their new friend in Rhinelander. Graham works out a daring escape plan to be carried out by his son and a family friend. They are successful in their attempt but are tracked back to their new home. After deactivating Mary's nanobot, the family goes to Israel to escape his former boss' henchman, not knowing that Rashid will not rest until Graham is killed.

TAGGED takes place in the near future when Rashid using his company Royal Arab Petroleum buys all the oil reserves as a step to become the leader of the world. Readers see his progress towards achieving his goal due to asteroids falling to earth blocking out the sun for days at a time and causing earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, millions die. He amassed a huge army yet fears Graham and what he could do to his ultimate plane. TAGGED is a fantastic apocalyptical thriller.

4.0 out of 5 stars GOOD APOCALYPTIC STORY, October 12, 2008
"Tagged" is interesting & fairly "edge of your seat" reading material. I am hooked on Apocalyptic & Post-Apocalyptic books but have never any of the Christian book or the Left Behind series. Book 1 of this series, "Wired" has a terrible review by Publishers Weekly & would probably have scared me off had I found it first. However I think Tagged is definitely worth reading & it didn't push the religious doctrine so much that it would bother most people. I am wondering if there is going to be a 3rd book in this series. I hope so - I always want to know "what happens next" in just about anything I read & definitely would like to know more about the Peck family trials.
