About the Author

Adam Blade is in his late twenties, and was born in Kent, England. His parents were both history teachers and amateur artists, and Adam grew up surrounded by his father's paintings of historic English battles - which left a lifelong mark on his imagination. He was also fascinated by the ancient sword and shield that hung in his father's office. Adam's father said they were a Blade family heirloom. Sadly, Adam does not have his own Fire-Dragon or Horse-Man. But he really wishes he did! --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

I read this book (as one of the whole series),with my son, and he loved it. He is 9 years old and in 3rd grade. We read at night and use this as a way to increase reading orally fluency. It has realy helped because he enjoys the story, even though there is a girl in it. It would probably be fun for a girl to read, even though there is a boy in it....thanks

My nephew is 8 and loved the first couple books so much instead of toy for Christmas all he wanted was this book collection. Then the collection is so great now my son who is 6 wants the collection too.
