Great,
This review is from: Tahitian Transformation: Gender and Capitalist Development in a Rural Society (Women and Change in the Developing World) (Paperback)
I actually had Dr. Lockwood as my professor, and she is one of the leading authorities in Tahitian ethnography. Her book is very informative but due to its size, in-depth discussion was not included. Overall an easy and interesting read.
