3.0 out of 5 stars A very good video to practice t'ai chi chih., October 28, 1999
This review is from: Tai Chi Chuan - Chen Man-Ching's Short Form [VHS] (VHS Tape)
While there are minor technical flaws, the camera cuts out a part of a movement once or twice and the repetition is only six times (while the recommended practice is nine times), it is a nicely done video of t'ai chi chih and easy to follow. Music and scenery nice too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Use as an introduction to T'ai-chi, April 18, 2000
This video has a lot of basic exercises and discussion of the philosophy of T'ai-chi. The form is the Chen Man-Ching short form and Paul Crompton does it well, eliminating some of the stiffness and lack of fluidity of some followers of Chen Man-Ching. The emphasis of this video is on gaining a basic understanding and a feeling for T'ai-chi.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not enough, December 4, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Tai Chi Chuan - Chen Man-Ching's Short Form [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This video does not provide enough instuction to learn T'ai Chi. You could learn more by reading the instructions from a book onto a tape and listening to this while performing the movements. This tape and seller (Alpha Craze) were real disappointments. Alpha Craze has not answered my e-mail about it yet (three weeks ago).
