I actually rented this video and then bought it. I had rented other videos and found that many of them are performed by people who do not speak English very clearly. This one has an English speaking moderator and therefore is quite clear. Another aspect of this particular style is that I found it quite pleasing to watch and therefore easier to learn. One last thing that I really liked is that for each movement they teach, they show you common mistakes that you need to avoid. The only downside is that it was too much information to learn by renting, I suggest you purchase it instead.

The steps are very easy to follow and laid out in detail. The movements are broken down, shown slowly, and at normal speed, with a what-not-to-do section. For the price, this is a really great video.

Footwork is critical to technique; this shows mostly upper body/arms/hands. What is shown is well done and helpful. Could use a little less artsy mood setting and more showing technique and form.

I like the layout of this video. It starts out with silk reeling exercises to teach the body mechanics required for the Tai Chi exercises at the end of the video. The end of the video presents a small Tai Chi flow that is very well explained and demonstrated.
