5.0 out of 5 stars Body,Mind and Soul
Having absolutely no knowledge of Tai Chi, one video basically looked like another to me. I decided to take a chance so I purchased it. This is a definite choice for anyone wanting to get started learning the basics. After one viewing of this video I found it not only to be inspirational but absolutely calming. I wish I had found Tai Chi years ago. This video is easy...

2.0 out of 5 stars Great for beginners.
Jason Chan teaches some very simple tai chi movements which are great for beginners, but more experienced players will be disappointed. This is not the Yang short form nor even the simplified 24 movement form. It is Jason's own short sequence of some simple moves and some chi kung movements as well as warm ups and cool downs.

This is a definite choice for anyone wanting to get started learning the basics. After one viewing of this video I found it not only to be inspirational but absolutely calming. I wish I had found Tai Chi years ago. This video is easy to follow and does not require any skill upfront. The scenery is the perfect background to inspire you. In my opinion this is an all around two-thumbs up for beginners.

4.0 out of 5 stars well done educational video - no experience required, February 3, 1999
By A Customer
I had no prior knowledge of tai chi before watching this video. It is motivating and educational. Now I am hooked. There is so much information that you could watch it a hundred times. Jason Chan does a great job of instruction. However, much need to rewind/play/rewind. Strongly suggest buying DVD version if available when you read this review. Currently only VHS available.
