I bought this product because it had good ratings,HOWEVER, it was awful. The video, i know would be used, came not fully wound. The pictures were blurry. I COULD NOT rewind it( had sooo much fuzzy lines ) or even pause/still it.

The instructional video was well produced with both front and rear view demonstrations of the fan routine. The entire routine was demonstrated both at the beginning of the tape and at the end. The fan routine was broken down into four sections. Each section was performed with a front view with names of postures and four rear view demonstrations. Two rear view demonstrations would have been sufficient. There was no verbal instruction of the routine. However, anyone with some Tai Chi background should be able to follow the format. The demonstrator, Helen Wu, comes from a long lineage of martial artist. Her grandfather, Wang Ziping, and mother, Wang Jurong, both have made history in China through their knowledge of Chinese Martial Arts. Overall, the video was well worth buying.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tai Chi Single Fan, November 12, 2006
This review is from: Tai Chi Single Fan [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Since I've been taking tai chi for only a year now, the Tai Chi Single Fan was more than I expected. The lessons are very easy to follow because they are repeated at least 4 times from the back as well as the front view, then the entire routine is repeated in the end.
