Gia was a real man of Tao. Most people do not get this. Tao hip talk or whatever is fine, in the Tao. Allan Watts, said it "To Do What You Want" this is the way Gia tells it from the heart, if you like it and it helps fine, other wise thats ok too. Gia and Watts, are my true teachers because truth and freedom always come from them. Its not hard but people make it hard, I will prefer to flow with it, then fight it. The book is a classic nothing out there can compare. His Tao Te Ching with Jane English is a great one too hope this helps, this is my feelings about a great teacher.

unfortunately Gai-fu, Feng chose to describe very difficult ancient chinese terms with the hip language of the mid 70's. This slang was silly back then and extinct now. Most of the language is not used and groovy is just not a way to translate ideas.
