Taiji Ball Qigong can strengthen the spine and torso, condition the muscles, stimulate the immune system and enhance Taiji Pushing Hands ability. From this training, one can learn to increase physical power by using the mind to lead the Qi (energy) to support muscular strength. In Taijiquan, Taiji Ball training used to be a major training tool. However, due to its secrecy, fewer and fewer people have learned it. Today the art of Taiji Ball training is almost unknown.
