His newest novel "Blood Drive" was written to satisfy the tastes of his current audience, and to broaden the appeal to others. Succinctly, Blood Drive might best be described as, "a decadent mystery."
Not only a thriller author, Jak is a bit of a thrill seeker. Much of his leisure time is spent SCUBA diving and skydiving. With a BA in psychology and an MBA, Jak uses his education, vivid imagination, and colorful writing style to create fun, twisted, adrenaline-provoking tales.
Born in Alaska, raised in Indiana, and having spent much of his career in the corporate arena, Jaks frontier spirit, midwestern upbringing, and executive experience play an important role in his makeup as an author.
If one were to ask Alister Jak about his take on his own writing style and success, he would say; "I write to entertain, and I give it my all for the fans."
With sheer disbelief, they viewed the most diabolical scene any one of them could ever have imagined in their wildest nightmare, or possibly could have created for the most terrifying movie. "This a horror masterpiece!",
By A Customer
This review is from: Tainted Lake (Paperback)
"I read about this book in a newspaper article. Wow! If this is Alister Jak's first novel, then he is a phenomenon. You do not have to be a horror fan to really enjoy Tainted Lake. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. I read it in about five hours, and I loved it. I'd recommend it to anyone."

Tainted Lake,

Tainted Lake is an excellent read. The author's vivid descriptions of both scenes and character moods gives the readerthe sense of participation with the characters. Being an experienced scuba diver the author has done his homework. The multiple plots of the story are complexly interwoven and requires the reader's full attention start to finish. I have personally read this book twice cover to cover and actually enjoyed it more the second time. This is an excellent investment of your reading dollar.
