4.0 out of 5 stars
the reality of the Straits relationship,
By Winnie King (Keelung City Taiwan) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Taiwan-china Connection: Democracy And Development Across The Taiwan Straits (Transitions: Asia & Asian America) (Paperback)
This researcher has to admit that this book provides asian studies with a clearer and more realistic view of the relations between the Taiwan Straits. Taking away the political games being handed the general public by governments of the ROC, PRC, and USA, this book provides not only an in-depth introduction to the history and current context of relations between the ROC and PRC, to also give us thought as to how more intense relations between these two regions will aid in their growth, development, and world peace.
