Almost rude response from them when asked about why they are not made in Japan, said not quality difference, same as always from around the world supplies.... yea right. Even tried a second time and got no reply from them. Ask anyone who knows steel and cutting edges if there is a difference and we know there can be a huge difference , even the Chinese best is no comparison to quality Japanese steel. Another example of a company, reducing their once quality product and still charging the same amount. I will stick with the Stanley 1" snap off blades ,made in USA on in England, at least for now. they are less than $7 at BORG for a 10pk. The are razor sharp, can shave hair off skin with them.

I am a Journeymen commercial insulator by trade. These things stay sharper and don't break as often as Olfa or Stanley blades. They are usually at least $1 per blade if you buy them at a construction supply store. The price here can't be beat. Who cares about what country they are made in? These things beat all other 25mm blades hands down.

Now made in China,
This review is from: Tajima LCB-65-20B Replacement Blades for Tajima Rock Hard Aluminist Knives, 20 pack (Tools & Home Improvement)
Purchased a Tajima utility knife and folding saw based on the fact that they were made in Japan (Japanese steel). Went to buy a refill pack of blades yesterday only to see that the blades and knives are now made in China. Chinese steel? NO THANKS.
