I guess I have to do this in Kids review section. My connection wont let me under regular. My name is Lisa and am the mom of 3 kids. I love this game and saw it reviewed in Family Fun magazine as their top software pick. The cut scenes in this game are hilarious. I think that these magazines are right on the money with how well this game is made. My husband and son play this game all the time and have a great time. Anyone looking for more info on this game may want to check out the Dec/Jan issue of Family Fun magazine. This gives an accurate picture of how well done this game is. As a mom, this game encourages me that it is not some shoot em up game!

One of the things I hoped they do if they ever made a sequel to Tak and the Power of Juju was to push the envelope and give us something new. While Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams hasn't really pushed the envelope in terms of gameplay, per se; it did give us something new(a new adventure, new characters, new linear environments, new potion mixing abilities, and wild new Juju and animal morphing powers). This time, Tak is out to recover the Nightmare Scepter and defeat Tlaloc once and for all. Once again, the game has stellar production values- is absolutely gorgeous, vibrant and colorful, graphically- voice-acting is top-notch-and cut-scenes are well-done and played out. Out of all the platformers being released this season; this is one that I've really been looking forward to. This time around, though,it's not your 'average' platformer anymore. It's pretty much on par with the big boys. I loved it. At times, the game really makes you use your mind to figure out how to go about a given task. The thing I loved most about it is it still has that sense of humor that was in the first one(Lok and Jibolba just crack me up sometimes).
All in all, Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams rocks! Now, bring on a third game...THQ. You've got something good going on here.

Tak 2 is a really fun game. I have a six year old daughter who loves to play it with her dad. They sit downstairs and play it for hours. As a mom, I love this game because it holds their attention and isn't a blow some person up for the fun of it game. The graphics in this game are better than any I have seen. We have tak 1 as well and this game is even better. The dream worlds in this are great. You can travel through Tak's dreams and nightmares. This game is great for all ages and keep's my husband very entertained. The humor in this is great as well.

Hi, i love this game. It is fun and my mom let me buy it because it is an E game. You go thru taks dreams and fight his nigtmares. This game is fun for the hole family. My friends and I are excited for the cartoon and the movie to come out. In this game you can play it and not get bored. The cut scenes are some of the funniest. This is the best looking game I have seen out there. You don't get to blow up things but the action in this is nonstop.

Well we thought this would be a nice game for our kids, not gory violence, lots of fun, etc. My kids played it a few times than asked me to play because they were stuck. I got a little further, but then got to a place that is just too agravating. I would agree that the clips are funny, to a point, and I would completely agree that the controls are far too difficult and it is too easy to get stuck without any help to get out. Stay away from this game. A waste of money.

i like this game alot. it was fun to play. we rented it first and then we bought it. my only bad thing about this game is the camera work. the game looks better than any thing else out there. if you check the gaming magazines they give this game great ratings. you should read ign's, nintendo power, etc to get a really good idea about this game. i like this game becuase you go through dreams and nightmares. i give this game the following.
fun-5 looks-5 replay-4 camera-4 puzzles-5 funny-5

The review below is very weird. I have this game and have been playing it for a few weeks now. This game is tops for me because my mom will only let me have E games and this is by far the best E game out there. The puzzles in the game are cool and hard. You don't finish this game in one day which is like other games. Maybe the guy got a bad copy orsomething. The angles in the game are fuzzy at times but all the games cameras have problems. The game is really funny and levels are well done. This game looks a lot better than most kid games do. The dream worlds are great. I like this game and give it a 10. I think nickelodon makes this game.

I'm 14, and I have the orignal Tak game. I'm not done with that one yet, but I wanted to move onto this new one anyway. Overall, after a week of playing, I find it extremely difficult in some parts. It feels like they hand you too many super-hard challenges back-to-back. It gets very annoying. I do like the game, it's funny and easy to follow along, but I wish it didn't have so many difficult, hair-yanking parts to it.
