Product Description

The GB7C Garth Brooks signature model was designed as a collaboration between Takamine R&D and country legend Garth Brooks. This model matches a solid cedar top, finished in a silky smooth natural satin finish, to a solid rosewood back and features a unique soundhole that mirrors the shape of the guitar. Sonically, the guitar performs well in soft fingerstyle passages and aggressive strumming. The mahogany neck is joined to the body with a traditional, ultra strong dovetail joint. Includes Takamine’s palathetic pickup®, known in the industry as one of the most accurate and natural sounding acoustic/electric pickups. The CT4B preamp has long been the popular choice among Takamine pro artists, providing warm natural acoustic tone at high sound pressure levels.

I watched the Garth Brooks Live from Las Vegas and was impressed with the guitar he used. So I looked at every picture until I could see what he was using then googled it . Then I looked were it was for sale and since I buy with confidence from Amazon , they also had the best price, plus I read some reviews, not sure where, and that was it. I have been looking and since I got this, its the best guitar I own. I have two Martins, a Classical 26C and a DSR1.For the money I am not sure if I could have done better, but Garth Brooks uses maybe not this exact guitar but he could afford anything and he has what looks like this exact Guitar. I am partially retired so I practice every day and the sound coming from this guitar plus the playability has me enjoying what I do with my time and dreaming a little too. Musical ability is for all ages, so good luck !

Great sounding guitar. You can pluck a string & it resonates for 30 secs!Electronics work great but I prefer it un-amplified.Sounds as good as my old Martin! Probably a few hundred dollars overpriced but still a great sounding guitar! You'll like it>
