4.0 out of 5 stars Wyborg is a Beast
Sadly, there are many out there who do not understand the wonder that are beyblades. First off, in order for you to have much fun, you need two beyblades and an arena. The arena is not that bad, just buy from other places than their website. Also, it's best if you have two people, though not needed.

2.0 out of 5 stars Beyblade
My son (9yrs old) really wanted this toy after playing at a friend's house. Apparently the accessory that makes them worthwhile is the Beyblade arena (which I tried to order from Hasbro.com - Amazon has a link to this, but was advised it was out of stock), so we haven't really gotten to play with the toy. 4.0 out of 5 stars Wyborg is a Beast, May 6, 2009

Sadly, there are many out there who do not understand the wonder that are beyblades. First off, in order for you to have much fun, you need two beyblades and an arena. The arena is not that bad, just buy from other places than their website. Also, it's best if you have two people, though not needed.
The point behind beyblades is to launch your tops into an arena (or any other fenced off area or sink bowl) and try to be the last beyblade spinning. These beyblades do not come pre assembled, but that's half the fun of it. Customizing the beyblades with other parts from other beyblades. The instructions are simple, just look at the pictures. But if you really need help, I sudgest buying the american hasbro brand beyblades. The pictures make it quite easy to assemble your own beyblade. Though, assembling the spin gear can be a pain SOMETIMES.
Anyway, now about this particular beyblade. Wyborg is an attack type, meaning it does not focus on spinning for long periods of time to beat your opponent, and it does not just sit there and take hits like a defense type. Defense types take hits but don't get hurt as much, making the other blade the one that gets hurt more. Wyborg and other attack types zoom around the arena or playing field knocking the opponents as hard as humanly possible to knock them out of the ring or knock their spins out. Great for aggressive attackers.
I only have one complaint about Wyborg. It is so strong and so durable, that it is one of the few blades that I have that has actually broken another one. This means that this blade is beast, but don't be surprised if a slightly older beyblade is knocked silly and broken a little bit by this attacker!
All in all, a great beyblade.

My son says the toys are hard to asssemble (Japanese instructions) and not fun to assemble like Legos. He would prefer it came pre-assembled.
This product does not seem that durable or worth the money.
