I bought this toy before our summer family vacation -- it kept my then 2.5 year old son busy for hours. I saw that it included a plane, but not a train, so I also bought a 3-car museum thomas train. What's great about this toy is 1) You can make a half circle of track for a train to go around (very important to my son). 2) It has enough space inside to fit the track, plane, and the train that I added. Yes, you need to fit everything in just so, and my mom struggled with it at first, but once I showed her how to do it, she can close the whole thing up in 2 minutes. 3) The track is very sturdy, my son puts it together himself and he is a bit rough with it, but no pieces have broken off, etc, even after months of use. We have Thomas Wooden railway at home, but this set is perfect for on-the-go fun. Granted, it is NOT a car toy, too many pieces, but great for vacations, trips to grandma's house, etc. I highly recommend this product!

My son has a blast with this toy. I also love that it folds up and we can put it away or he can bring it somewhere with a few trains inside.

Goes great with the other Thomas Take-Along sets that my boys have and they love building their own Sodor Island with all the sets they have being able to connect to one another to give hours of extended play. Love it!!
