This review is from: Take My Breath Away (Audio CD)
This is the second collaboration between GreenCourt and De/Vision, and it's not a cover of the Berlin classic before you ask. De/Vision have taken some stick from the departure from their synth style on their album Void. I'd like to think these collaborations have had some effect on them coming back to a more synth-oriented style for their next and imminent album. I've heard this described as trance, but it's still good synth dance music.

Although the title track is essentially an up-tempo track, the vocals are lazy and laid-back (I mean this in a good way) so that there is a nice contrast between music and vocalist. When Steffen sings the first line of the chorus "Take my breath away...", you know he is waiting expectantly for this very thing to happen to him. I hope the person he was singing this to didn't disappoint him.

The second track on this single Inside Your Gates is a pretty good dance track. No vocals this time, just a drum machine, some synths and a couple of samples. Reminds me of Alice Dee-Jay and ATB, that type of style. Not bad, but not a patch on the title track.
