Although written in 1984 it is still a useful and thoughtful guide to increasing a person's happiness, based on many years of counseling people as well as expanding on Dr. Glasser's original thoughts in "Reality Therapy" (1965) as well as an earlier version of his later seminal book, "Choice Theory" (1998). He changed the term for his theories about self-control from "Control Theory" to "Choice Theory" but the principles reamined the same. This is a highly practical and helpful book.
