Take 5, the 2001-sound already in 1998..., November 15, 2001
Take 5 came to Sweden 1998, and started a success as huge as the Backstreet Boys'. The singles "I Give" and "Never Had It So Good" (#3) could be heard on every radiostation, but when the album came, I think most of the fans was surprised. It was a weird bass-thing going on that we'd not heard before. I almost hated the songs and thought it was sad because of their GREAT vocals. Now, almost 4 years later, I found the CD all dusty, and decided to try it one more time, and I totally love it! It has a weird, but awsome, mix of R'n'B and popmusic, and the voices could only be described as 5 diffrent Nick Carter (BsB)! If you think Destiny's Child are a little bit too much, and the Backstreet Boys a little bit too less, Take 5 is perfect for you!

A Better Boyband, September 12, 2005
They're five people in a band put together by Lou Pearlman. They look good, they dance well, and they sing fairly well too. Songs that stand out are "I Give", "Never Had It So Good", and "Please Stay", the ballad that could really melt girls' hearts. Bad points about this cd is 1. they're a boyband. 2. they're just singers than musicians. 3. their album is like other boyband albums with a little edge. Recommended to tweenagers, and not recommended to people who like to analyse music more than they listen to it.
Have fun.
