Linda Ciofalo opens her CD with Cole Porter's "You Do Something To Me," and you know immediately here is a jazz vocalist that has style, energy, and emotion! Mike Capobianco plays a fantastic jazz piano, a pianist with style and feeling! Other musians who give impressive performances are Steve Salerno on guitars, bass; Bill McCrossen on bass guitar; Ken Rizzo on bass guitar; Ken Hassler on drums, percussion; Robin Lobe on percussion; Frank Bellucci on drums; Wayne Schuster on saxaphone.

The 10 selections on this wonderful CD are:"You Do Something To Me," "Throw It Away," "Friday Night," " My One And Only Love," "I've Got The World On A String," Show Me," "Time After Time," "I Can't Make You Love Me," "Lost Ticket Blues," "Someone To Watch Over Me." Great standards sung by a great jazz vocalist!

WOW! I really am impressed. You sound fabulous. Love the tune and you do have a hint of Ella.
You should really persue this as I will be buying this CD tomorrow. I just listened to the 1st 3 songs, and they're really great.

If this is a 1st effort,I can't wait for the next one. I've been playing it over and over. Linda's voice is so beautiful and her treatment of standards are class in action. "You do something to me" is a knockout with GREAT solo work from the band.The original songs are just that,ORIGINAL. She writes intelligently about unusual stories,like winning the lottery and married men who make a career out of cheating. Cool stuff.
