Great show. It is clean; my entire family can watch it. Curtis is very entertaining. The meals are foods that you will definitely try at home, but with a touch of flare to at least part of the dinner. We are a family of 11. After watching his Thanksgiving Day special, my 13 year old son made a pumpkin pie from scratch. My girls (ages 11 and 12) have made his roasted potatoes. This is a show that keeps your attention. You walk away with a good feeling, and he is definitely inspiring my kids to love to cook.

Curtis Stone is wonderful as he surprises one very lucky person (VLP) by offering to make a fabulous gourmet meal (on him) to surprise the VLP's special someones. Watch them all! My family and friends loved this show when it was on and would shop the various stores he frequented hoping we would one day be a VLP.

Enjoyed the idea if the planned meets but would have been nice to mix with former style. Also placements were just weird.

I don't like the fact that obvious "sponsors" must be paying to have their product mentioned or shown in the programming. The Chase Freedom Card is in EVERY episode. And the Glad Bags and wrap have also shown up more than once. I don't like it!

We liked Season 1 better. Season 2 is more about the back stories and less about the cooking. Season 1 shows seem more spontaneous and better showcase the personal strengths of Curtis' personality.
