This was a really hot read! Tracy Marx is trying to find a new start. She is Divorced and she is now a mother to her nephew since her sister recently died. She is trying to find a job as a Veterinarian in a town where Men rule and women stay home with there kids. She also needs to find her self esteem since her ex-husband deceided to take it with him. Tracy meets up with a old friend, Rowdy. He tells her that that he could be her dreams come true..man/women/man action. She takes him up on his offer. Tracy doesnt know who the third will be and she really doesnt care until she is introduced to Dolan Crane, a Veterinarian who is trying to run her out of town bacause she is sniffing around in his territory and he has never even meet her before.
The sparks start to fly and before long they forget all about being adversaries. Dolan is so into her and that he wants her all to himself. Dolan must share becase this is Tracey's dream and if he wants to be with her and he is going to have to deal with. The more time Dolan spends with Tracy the more possessive he becomes. Dolan shows her that she doesnt need two men to please her and he can take care of her just fine. Tracy would like to take a chance with Dolan but she is afraid that Dolan will leave her like her ex and she hasnt even told him about her new son. You have to read this book to find out how they hurdled all of the obstacules in oder to find true love. Also read all the ways Dolan and Rowdy made Tracy crazy with want. I could not put this book down I read it in one day.

This book was a struggle to get through. The poor grammar, incorrectly conjugated verbs ("grinded"? do they mean "ground"?), and sentences that, well, just didn't make sense were extremely distracting. The story was OK, and this could have been a decent read. Unfortunately, I found myself wanting to circle the errors in the text and add them up. I've read several other McKade stories and enjoyed them, so the less than stellar editing of this one was particularly disappointing.

Take Me Again,
By Kelly "Reviewer for The Sinfully Sensuous" (Littleton, Colorado) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE) (REAL NAME)

Tracy Marx is taking the biggest risk she could ever imagine. She was uprooting her life and moving across the country to begin a new life in Santa Ysabel, California. She had an uncle there, which would make the transition easier, but she was leaving the familiar and diving in to the unknown. This had been just the tip of the iceberg. The most life altering change had been her sister's unexpected death, and Sheldon coming to live with her. She was now a mother. Trying to meet the locals, she ran into Dolan Crane at a party, and the unexpected chemistry between them was overpowering. One shared look between them was all it took to cement the all consuming lust that threatened to make them both go up in flames.
Dolan Crane has been restless since his cousin got married. He could see how happy Cord was with his new wife, and it made him think too much about his superficial life. His relationships consisted of meaningless sex, and many times sharing women with a friend. He had friends, but Cord was all the family he had left in the world, and he couldn't help but be envious. He wanted a wife and family, but no one had ever sparked his interest for a lifelong relationship. The night he laid eyes on Tracy had him thinking thoughts he had never had before. He wanted her on a level he didn't understand, and had him feeling things that took him by surprise. When he found out they shared the same profession as vets, and were going to be competing for business, Dolon knew that anything between them was doomed to fail. Entertaining sexy story surrounding a very likeable couple. Dolon is a strong dominant, but yet a kindhearted man. Tracy has had a difficult life lately especially with the death of her sister, and the addition of Sheldon into her life. There is incredibly hot chemistry between them, but their professional differences could be a stumbling block they may not be able to overcome.

If they weren't so annoyed with each other they'd be perfect together,

Dolan Crane isn't having a good day! With Doc Zimmerman preparing to retire Dolan's preparing to take over his practice but the events of today certainly aren't aiding his cause. He'd like nothing more than to find a young woman to help forget his sorrows but that may not be an option at the moment.
He's hopeful that Jester Norton's house party will provide the perfect distraction from his disappointing day - especially if he can find a woman interested in using one of the unoccupied rooms for a little extracurricular activity. As luck would have it the perfect woman is present at the party as well but before he gets the opportunity to speak with her - or do anything else - his cell phone rings and he has to switch back into veterinarian mode and leave. All the while wishing he's at least gotten the little filly's name. Divorcee Tracy Marx has more than her fair share of responsibilities. She's recently made the move to California where she intends to establish herself as a veterinarian before bringing her sister's son Sheldon to live with her. Both tasks are daunting. Getting the locals to give her a chance as a vet won't be easy but trying to be a good mom to Sheldon is scary as well. That doesn't stop her from being a woman with needs and desires and her passions are anything but vanilla. Dolan isn't at all happy to learn that there's a new veterinarian in town. That's competition that he didn't need - and the simple fact that he's so attracted to Tracy only makes his resentment that much more intense. His old college buddy Rowdy knows exactly what Dolan needs to lighten his mood - and he knows just the woman who dreams about being involved in a threesome and claims that she's up for anything for their upcoming `date.' Dolan and Tracy are deeply involved in a love/hate relationship and being brought together in such a fashion unleashes all the passion that they've both tried so desperately to keep hidden. They each have their own issues to deal with but will their growing feelings for each other be enough to build a relationship? Mackenzie McKade brings these characters and their troubles to life in this emotionally captivating read. TAKE ME AGAIN delves into the trouble Tracy would face trying to establish herself as a competent vet and still allows readers to get to know her as a woman with all the hopes, dreams and fears that go along with her responsibilities. Dolan has his own worries and desires and they're only intensified by his attraction to Tracy. Rowdy plays a pivotal role in this story as well and captured my heart with how much he truly cares for Tracy. I'm really hoping that he'll soon have a story of his very own because I honestly think he deserves a `happily ever after.' I really enjoy how Ms. McKade brings Cord and Caitlyn into this story and infuses so much humor through Caitlyn's quick witted fun loving personality and how she keeps the men on their toes. TAKE ME AGAIN is the second story in Ms. McKade's WILD OATS series. If you'd like to read Cord and Caitlyn's story then be sure to pick up a copy of TAKE ME, also available at Samhain Publishing. The chemistry was there for the two main characters, and the plot was beleivable enough. I would recommend the book, I thought it was good. Not great, but worth the read if you want a romance novel with some steamy scenes.

I've read all the reviews and agree with all but one. This definitely was a good read with a lot more plot than "Take Me" had, in my opinion. (Maybe I shouldn't read these "erotic" books? Did I just say that??) I really enjoy the sexual stuff, but sometimes that's all there is to an "erotic" book. When the sex is led up to in a slower fashion, it's a lot more fun to read about. That happened in the latter part of this story. It had a really good storyline and I commend the author for what she's put together. These characters, all of them, were excellently done.

Starts out with a lust at first start scenario and then leads to a threesome. Meet at a part he has to leave before he finds out who she is and then they meet again with a friend of both of theirs for a threesome. They learn that they are both after the same job in a small time as a veterinarian and it goes from there.
I like how this story actually does have a plot well and everything just isn't tied into a bow nice and perfect within the first 10 pages of the book. Yes, they lust after each other, but they really have to like/love each other towards the end to help them deal with all their issues. Wish the kid was in it more. I like when a child mixes things up!

Take Me Again,
This review is from: Take Me Again (Wild Oats) (Paperback)
When Tracy Marx arrives in Santa Ysabel, veterinarian Dolan Crane knows the sexy redhead is everything he's ever wanted. There's only one problem - the fiery Dr. Marx is Dolan's competition. Dolan knows he's got to forget about her, which is easier said than done. So when his friend Rowdy says he's lined up a date with a woman who has a fantasy of being with two men, Dolan takes it as an opportunity to get Tracy off his mind.
A divorcée set on establishing her practice in Santa Ysabel, Tracy can't afford any distractions, especially one as irritatingly sexy as Dolan. When her friend Rowdy offers to fulfill her deepest fantasy, a ménage à trois, Tracy can't resist. After Tracy and Dolan find out what Rowdy's done, things really start to heat up. And a night of passion is only the beginning... Mackenzie McKade turns up the heat to a scorching degree in the irresistible Take Me Again. From start to finish, it's an engaging, sexy tale with characters who are sure to delight. I fell in love with Dolan in Ms. McKade's Take Me, when Dolan participated in a red-hot ménage with Cait and Cord (who also appear in Take Me Again). Dolan's innate sex appeal, his protectiveness, tenderness, and possessiveness (in the good sense of the word) of Tracy made him an utterly delicious hero. Tracy, for her part, is smart, capable, lovely, and tough. In other words, she's the perfect heroine for Dolan and I couldn't help but adore her. I loved seeing these two, both somewhat wary of falling in love, be unable to resist one another. As for Rowdy, the third member of the ménage, I dearly hope Ms. McKade has this wicked cowboy meet his match one day. Ms. McKade never fails to pen a sensual, wonderful story and Take Me Again is no exception. I loved it and look forward to reading more books by the talented Ms. McKade. THE BOOK STARTED OUT PRETTY GOOD BUT IT SOON GOT A LITTLE BORING. IN MY OPINION THE SEX SCENES COULD HAVE HAD A LITTLE BIT MORE HEAT. THE CHARACTERS ALSO WERE LACKING DEPTH. YOU NEVER GET A SENSE OF WHY THEY ARE THE WAY THEY ARE.
