I got this book for my 11 year old daughter. It has turned out to be a favorite of hers. In fact- all of her friends are asking for it too. Makes history fun for children I defiantly reccommend this book.

This book is a brilliant way to introduce the concept of "past" and "history" to a young student. The presentation is eye catching and the information brief but clear. These DK books are like informative magazines which manage to lure young internet uses into browsing books. We love them.

DK excels at grabbing the attention of the reader through text and illustrations. This book is interesting to any age group, such as myself, but my 3 boys love it also.

Very interesting and accurate account of some of the

frustrations and Individual Heroisms of the Vietnam War. Once I started reading, I could put it down!

I was in Vietnam [Navy] for two years before this happened during the TET offensive in Jan 1968!

My 12 year old specifically asked for this book and when I found out it was a history book I was surprised. He was fascinated by it an reads it without prompting. I'm glad that he is finding history so interesting.
