3.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't sound too "Pooish", March 25, 2001
This review is from: Take My Hand: Songs From The 100 Acre Wood (Audio CD)
The music on this CD doesn't sound like typical Pooh music mainly because most of the songs are performed by the Chieftans. I played this CD for my 4 year old brother, and he didn't really enjoy it that much. The songs without the lyrics sound like songs that could be for adults. Nonetheless, the music isn't horrible.

5.0 out of 5 stars If it makes your 2 and 4 year old dance and sing is it great, September 27, 2002

We have played the cassette tape version so many times that I am now replacing it. The songs go from sweet and soft to upbeat and silly. My two little ones beg me to play this over and over in the car and at home.

5.0 out of 5 stars Open Your Ears, September 5, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Take My Hand: Songs From The 100 Acre Wood (Audio CD)
I've read the reviews of those who were dissatisfied with "Take My hand" and I would recommend that they listen again with open ears. This is a truly wonderful collection of songs spanning many moods and recorded by extraordinarily talented artists. It is a collection for both young and old; my 2-year old daughter and I can't get enough of it. In fact, we wore out our cassette and are now ordering a cd. "Kangaroo Hop", "All Good Things" and "My Balloon" are our favorites. In fact, "All Good Things" helped me tremendously as I made the emotional journey through chemotherapy for breast cancer. And, after listening to "My Balloon" and "Kangaroo Hop" I have new-found respect for Kathie Lee Gifford! Keep your ears and heart open and you, too, will fall in love with this treasure!
