This is an excellent book whether you are just curious or seeking researched and repeatable results. There is no fluff or filler. There is an excellent Appendix with References and Resources that allow the reader/researcher to gather additional information. Case histories are given and referenced. Because the basis of music as medicine is in quantum physics, rather than the author's personal "beliefs," you can safely take the contents of this book and "put it in the bank."
I recently heard Dr. Jonas present an extremely informative and entertaining lecture. If you are unable to do likewise, then by all means you need to read this book. I firmly believe that every physician, psychiatrist and psychologist should be required to prescribe a course of treatment that includes medical sound therapy before resorting solely to pharmacology and surgery. Of significant importance is the fact that there are no dangerous side effects from what may be the oldest form of healing therapy ever experienced by mankind. Therapists and Healthcare Professionals take note; this book can pave the way towards improved health and dramatic results. Robert L. Bayliss |
