This review is from: Take Up Your Life (Hardcover)

A lot of this book is BS. It's New Age feel-good thinking wrapped in supposed Buddhist framework.
The idea that suffering has to come into our lives so we can be released from suffering is ludicrous.
That's just someone trying to explain something that is inexplicable.
It's another line of God is Love horse manure. The evidence just doesn't support this position. But practitioners from all sides are desperately trying to explain how a "loving" Creator permits all this cruelty to so many innocents.

The truth is the plan looks like randomness. And cruelty and love are both parts of God's nature and that's the horrifying mystery.

This is just another book of someone trying to know the unknowable and explain the unexplainable. You can't tell someone what the purpose or meaning of life is until you know the nature of God and no one can.

Don Lessnau, Redford
