Just the book I needed,
This review is from: Take It to Your Seat Math Centers, Grades K-1 (Paperback)
The take it to your seat books have all been great & the kids seem to especially enjoy this one. I needed something hands-on for my 6 year old but my 4.5 year old just loves the activities as well. There are 14 different activities inside, quite easy to just tear out & prepare. I used brown paper bage to glue each cover to, the instructions I glued on the back of the bag and placed the cut out material for the activity inside. I put the whole lot in a free choice box for them to choose from and I find them regularly pulling out several of the bags to do - they really enjoy them and it reinforces the maths concept in a concrete way. The illustrations are attractive and a good size. My eldest really likes the self-check answer gauges on the back of each game & it frees me up to do other things if needed. I prepared the whole book of activities in one afternoon. Well worth the money and have bought more from the series.

My kindergarten students love math time because of the different centers from this book. For our kindergarten curriculum, some of the activities are too easy (like counting wings, eyes, and tails of animals and insects) but others are at their level (counting by 2's and using frogs to write subtraction sentences). Overall, I am very happy with this product and would purchuse again from this series.

I bought this book for my daughter to use as review between k & first grade. I def recomend laminating them so you can reuse them. My daughter thinks they are games! Printed in color, 12 "games" offer practice with everything from counting and grouping to graphing and patterns. A Pre-K student could do some of them with help, but I deff. recomend them for K & 1st graders. Great project for students to do alone or with an adult. Great opportunity for spending quality time with your child. Working with your child/student you could add verbal questions to make them more advanced, and ask questions so that your child/student can explain what thier doing. I plan to buy more of the Take It To Your seat books. Love it!

These are incredibly easy to make and my children love playing them. They are also easy to store and fit well in workboxes. I will be purchasing others in this series.
