This is a really good book for teachers to use in the classroom or at home for extra practice. This book goes right along with many of the lessons that I teach in class!! I Highly recommend this book!!!

Great Independent Activity!,

I recently purchased this Centers book as well as the 3-4 grade version. I teach math in a one room school that has grades K-6. I needed some independent work for my students that would give them practice in math concepts that a teacher's aide could oversee. These activities have turned out to be just what I needed. The activities are engaging and meaningful and align well with state standards. Usually more than one student can work with a single folder activity. The students really enjoy a change from the norm as well as the colorful format. The centers are easy to assemble and use. (I laminate with a cold laminator) I highly recommend this product!

I like this product because, once the concept and materials are reviewed for the whole class, students can work independently! These are great for keeping early finishers on-task while I work with small groups or individual students who need my undivided attention, or for reviewing essential skills with below-grade level students. I went ahead and put the covers and instructions right onto the folders, rather than laminating first, then laminated the whole folder and simply sliced open the pockets inside. This way it should last longer. I work with two other teachers and we all have these centers in our classes, with the accountability piece in each, folders color-coded (red for reading, yellow for math), so that if students start a folder in one class, they can finish in their homeroom class (or whichever room they are in next). I am working on purchasing the levels above and below and including them in each folder, so that higher and lower achieving students will be challenged at their own levels and not bored or frustrated.

Item completely MISREPRESENTED!!,
This review is from: Take It to Your Seat Math Centers, Grades 2-3 (Paperback)
I was very disappointed to discover that this book, which is consumable for the purposes of establishing centers was not only WRITTEN in, but also MISSING complete sections. None of these details were included in the description. Additionally, I have yet to hear back from the seller in regards to my refund!
