As someone who loves word games, I'm always looking for something new. Take a Letter fits the bill, because it incorporates many different challenges into one game. There's a board game aspect of rolling the dice, moving around, and trying to collect the letters you need. There's a Scrabble-like strategy component of placing your words on the board to score the most points. There's the chance to steal letters or cards from other players. And what I find the most interesting is that there are cards that give you different ways to score points by making words that meet certain criteria - for example, 10 points for a 3 letter word, 50 points to play a Q, or 75 points for a word ending in ING. For anyone who has gotten tired of the same old word games, Take a Letter is a welcome new challenge.

Build words crossword style but you're limited by the cards you draw. Try to place words strategically so that you can steal letters from your opponent or get more points. Lots of fun and different than other word games.
