5.0 out of 5 stars FULL OF PRACTICAL, TRULY HELPFUL ADVICE, January 18, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Take two crackers and call me in the morning!: A real-life guide for surviving morning sickness (Paperback)
IT IS RARE TO FIND SOMEONE WITH SUCH REMARKABLE INSIGHT INTO THE PLIGHT OF THE PREGNANT WOMAN WHO SUFFERS TERRIBLY FROM "MORNING SICKNESS". THE BOOK IS EASY TO READ AT A TIME WHEN ONE FINDS IT DIFFICULT TO CONCENTRATE. THE ILLUSTRATIONS HELPED ME FIND THE HUMOR IN A TOPIC I USUALLY DO NOT FIND VERY FUNNY. THE BOOK IS FULL OF SIMPLE YET USEFUL ADVICE. EVEN AFTER ALL THE HELPFUL HINTS I RECEIVED FROM FRIENDS AND RELATIVES, I STILL FOUND A PLENITUDE OF NEW ADVICE IN THIS WONDERFUL BOOK.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wishing I still had it in my possession, December 30, 2009
This review is from: Take two crackers and call me in the morning!: A real-life guide for surviving morning sickness (Paperback)
Just after this book was published, I worked at (....) and was given the assignment of reviewing it. I interviewed Erick and read the book. I thought it was a wonderful piece at the time, and I wasn't even pregnant. Now, many years later, I am in my late 30's and I wish I still had my copy! I do remember the good humor and down-to-earth advice, however. I hope the publisher rereleases this!

5.0 out of 5 stars Helpful AM, PM or in between!, August 8, 2000

Being sick is the WORST thing about being pregnant..it's certainly not very funny. The cartoons in this book really hit the nail on the head! Even if you are too sick to read, flip a page and you'll see your situation illustrated. Brilliant work. Every OB should be recommending this book from office visit #1..as well as very receptionist who answers the phone from a woman who is despite for an early appointment!
