This is a very moving and thought provoking movie. The remarkable persistence of this mother whose child was stolen; her determination, over a period of years, to find her child, her insistence that Haley was still alive when everyone else had accepted that she had died - one can't help but wonder if one would have held out for so long. This is a movie that is well worth watching. I recommend it to everyone.

Character development is amazing!! Totally realistic and both Kelly and Tapping play their roles to a T. Kacey Rohl was a breath of fresh air, and I hope to see her in more very soon!

Love movies with a determined mindset that she had, don't want to give it all away, but loved her spirit.

Taken Back:Finding Haley is a TV movie about a mother who lost her child through abduction. It features Moira Kelly, who played the role of Karen Turner, a mother obsessed looking for her child.I never really had high expectations for it for I expected it to be a typical Lifetime TV considering. But I was definitely surprised with the performance of Moira. She definitely raised the level of this film as her performance would make the viewer empathize with her emotions and cheer for her in fulfilling her mission to find her long lost child. Despite the fact that she played the first one-third of the film being a teary and emotional which could be bothersome,I still felt that she covered that up with the way she portrayed Karen in the remainder of the film. This performance alone would make one overlook the plot holes and imperfections of the screenplay.Added to that,it definitely epitomized what mothers should be all about with regards to their love for their children.
