This is not a movie to apply the laws of physics to, its ENTERTAINMENT folks. If you want reality go to the Discovery channel. I did not have to suspend my belief system to enjoy this movie. It was loved by people all over the world so if you like Liam Neeson and enjoy seeing a nice guy get revenge and the bad guys get taken out, this is your movie. It's not supposed to be "art" its ENTERTAINMENT and it excels at that all throughout the movie.

I LOVE this movie. It has great action, great acting, and its just flat out good! To me, real life is far scarier than any monster movie. This stuff really happens and that makes it scary and a good thriller! If you have teens, you should definately watch it with them because it's a good wake-up call for them. THIS is why we are protective of our kids. Liam does an awesome job and this is the kind of dad I'd like to have. One that would stop at nothing and never give up on trying to protect me/save me, etc. I actually think I'll buy this one. It's worth keeping around.

If you like the Splinter Cell books or games you will love this movie. Even though there has not yet been a Splinter Cell movie out yet, but Taken does take the charts in that aspect. A ex-cell uses his skills to retrieve his daughter from a dirty underground ring of sex slaves. It sort of makes you fill like Sam Fisher would of done the same thing, but yeah, way awesome, 5 stars.

Taken is a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend this movie. Liam Neeson leads the cast and shows us another side to being an action star. The movie moves along at a steady pace and keeps you cheering him on. About the only thing I couldn't handle in the film, are the scenes when his daughter is running in the house...she looked as though she had a handicap. But as a father myself, the movie made me think how far I would go to save my kids if they were abducted. Great movie!!!
