My favorite book on Myers-Briggs theory, April 1, 2002
This review is from: It Takes All Types! (Paperback)
It was life-changing for me 15 years ago to learn about the Myers-Briggs type indicator and that my style, which I often felt was so different from others, was normal and already explained in Karl Jung's psychological framework. I became an avid student of just about every book written on the subject, and Alan Brownsword's is the one I always recommend, lend to newly interested friends, and refer to myself whenever I am encountering an interpersonal situation I want to study. It is written with humor and insight, is concise and precise, and gives enough examples to satisfy readers from the novice to someone more advanced in type knowledge.

?The new 2nd Edition is packed with new information., September 7, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: It Takes All Types! (Paperback)
The newly released 2nd Edition of It Takes All Types is 56 pages longer than the first edition. The new material works to explain and amplify those areas of psychological type that often give those new to type problems.
The descriptions of the 16 types are lucid and easy to understand. They have been described by many teachers of type as among the best available. They are very helpful in understanding your own type and they give you insight into how others relate to the world around them.
It Takes All Types has been praised by Otto Kroeger (President elect of the Association for Psychological Type), Dr Linda Berens (of Temperament Research Institute), Dr. David Kiersey (author of Please Understand Me) and other leading educators and leaders in the field.
