Her weekly column on cultural, family, and political issues, "From the Hart," is distributed to 350 newspapers across the country. This was an excellent book, full of humor and good sense. I learned quite a bit. The author cites many contemporary authorities and critiques popular ideas about child-rearing that may be deficient. She often uses examples from her own family. There is motivation as well as insight.

Packed with information this book is a must read.
